I’ve learned fun ways to incorporate stimulating activities, like using “wait” commands followed by a treat-hunting game (“Find it!”) where I hide rewards around a wooded area for them to sniff out and find. “Dogs on logs”—a perfect photo opportunity they eagerly anticipate because they know it means treat time.
Alongside these activities, I also work on teaching dogs new skills and tricks (some nail it and some don’t!) - such as weaving through legs, roll over, spinning, and, most importantly, constantly practicing recall to ensure every walk is both fun and safe. My broad experience has been incredibly rewarding. It has taught me so much about caring for dogs and reinforced my love for this work, which led me to start Al's Pals.
Now I’m thrilled to continue this journey, eager to create a new pack of furry friends and serve my clients with the dedication and heart that fuelled my passion from the start. My approach goes beyond walks—these fun activities mentioned promote physical fitness, mental stimulation, and overall well-being—an experience to your dog’s unique needs.
